Pastors

Pastor Simon is an ordained Minister of Religion with over 15 years experience in preaching the Gospel. He attended the Woburn Methodist School. He also attended the Barbados Baptist College and successfully acquired an associate degree in Theological Studies.
He has served St. George’s Baptist Church as the Moderator of the Interim Committee for the past from 2001 – 2005. In his capacity as a pastor he has presided over Sunday worship services, weekly bible study, Baptism, dedications, funerals and other pastoral duties.
On January 29th 2006 Pas. Simon was installed as pastor of the St. George’s Baptist Church. He is now the presiding minister and continues to counsel couples, families and young people.
A contractor by trade, he is the Managing Director of One Call Construction Company Limited (One Call). One Call is a General Construction Service Company which was started in 1997 by Stanford Simon and is built on the belief that people want and are willing to pay for construction services delivered with integrity, thoroughness, professionalism and timeliness. The company constructs residential houses and commercial premises.
Ps. Simon founded Christian Services Corporation (CSC) in 2002 as the non-profit arm of his construction company, One Call. CSC is a non-profit organization, established to bring Christians of various denominational backgrounds together for mission, education, worship and fellowship.
Pas. Simon served on the Board of the Grenada Co-operative Credit Union League for six (6) years (1999 – 2004). He served as vice president from 1999 to 2001 and as president of the League from 2002 to 2004. In 2005 he was again appointed as president of the League for 2005 to 2008.
In July 2004, Pastor Simon was elected to serve as a director of the Caribbean Confederation of Credit Union for the period 2004 to 2006.
Ps. Simon now resides in Morne Jaloux with his beautiful wife Yvonne Gellineau-Simon.

Youth Pastor – Ps. Brian Calliste
Ps. Brian Calliste of Woburn, St. George’s is married to Elizabeth Calliste and together they are raising three children namely Renee, Brianna and Brandon.
He attended the Berean Christian Academy and the J.W. Fletcher Memorial School. He attained a certificate in Auto Mechanics at the Grenada Technical & Vocational Institute and is presently pursuing a course in Theology at the Open Bible Church in Springs, St. George’s.
He is the founder of the group “Radical for Jesus.” The objective of this group is to reach unsaved youths so that they can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The means by which this group reaches young persons is through concerts, village meets among other activities – which feature upbeat music and inspiring preaching.
Every year they host a concert called “Gospel Fest” which is held every year on Easter Monday at Bathway and in Camerhogne Park on Grand Anse Beach in August on Emacipation Day.
Ps. Brian enjoys working with young persons. With his God given gifts, Christian experience and his call to the Ministry he has accepted the challenge to work with the young people of St. George’s Baptist Church.
